Orientation to the IEI Social-Emotional Component

Description

Orientation to the IEI Social-Emotional Component

Participants will learn the history, philosophy, policy and procedures that guide the use of the SE component to support best practice IEI services. The use of reflective supervision/consultation to promote relationship-based, family-focused intervention will be illustrated. Opportunities to process the use of intake data including risk and protective factors to determine evaluation team needs and intervention planning will be explored. This 1.5 hour in-house training was developed for presentation primarily to newly hired service coordinators and new community providers entering the IEI system. Resource leads for self-directed learning will be provided.
