| Description |
Dr. Smith reviewed the ADOS including how it is administered and scored. Dr Smith provided sample items from the ADOS and how information gained from these series of interactions is used in scoring and providing an autism diagnosis. Finally, group discussion was held surrounding how the ADOS classification is not equivalent to a clinical diagnosis and the potential for the ADOS to over classify individuals as having Autism Spectrum Disorder.
