This workshop will allow participants to consider all the variables when choosing providers with a family for their child. We will review DHS guidelines for the provider selection process, review the DEC recommended practices for teaming a collaboration, and problem-solve various scenarios that arise when providers, families and service coordinators all attempt to work together to assemble the best possible team of supports for a family in early intervention. Small group activities and large group discussions will be used to facilitate the learning of this content.
