Description |
This presentation will provide the pediatric OT with current evidence-based knowledge to address sleep issues for children. It consists of several components: a) a comparison of various assessment tools to evaluate sleep; b) the types of sleep problems in children as identified in the literature; c) evidence-based interventions appropriate for an OT to provide to address the various sleep issues; and d) the design of customized interventions to help families cope with and change the sleep experience.
