Short Course 146: Moving Beyond Informal Clinical Observations: Introducing the Structured Observations of Sensory Integration-Motor (SOSI-M)

Description

This short course will discuss a new standardized, nationally normed assessment of sensory-motor abilities. The SOSI-M focuses on motor planning and postural control skills and is based on Ayres original clinical observations. OTs will be presented with a new, state-of-the-art conceptualization of structured observations, including their psychometric properties, guided reasoning for differential diagnosis, and their application in contemporaneous clinical practice.
