Description |
It’s important for school-based OT practitioners to understand the specifics of what the law allows them to do, as well as what it requires of them. This session will provide school-based OTs a chance to learn about the IDEA and share their experiences on how its implementation has impacted them and their students. This will allow AOTA to develop principles to Congress so the eventual reauthorization of the bill reflects the experiences OTs have regarding the IDEA day to day.
