What causes the breakdown of intelligibility in connected speech and negatively impacts communication’? This workshop will discuss assessment of speech intelligibility and numerous therapy techniques to help kids become more intelligible. A few therapy techniques to discuss include: improving self-monitoring skills, increasing awareness. improving rate of speech, and decreasing frustration with not being understood by others.
