This training is an overview of Assessment - how to understand, use, and interpret assessment instruments in EI. We encounter a variety of reports from referring sources, and it is important to be able to understand the information, how it was gathered, and its robustness, in order to use it in service of the children and families we serve in EI. We also use several instruments, and this training we review key elements of administering them to make sure that we are gathering data and information reliably, accurately, and objectively to support meeting a family's needs.
