Deaf/Hard of Hearing Preschool Students' Acquisition of Language through Dyadic and Triadic Communication Contexts

Description

Dyadic communication (deaf educator using sign with D/HH student) verses triadic communication (general education teacher, sign language interpreter, and D/HH student) were used in this study. Results and implications of working with young D/HH students and sign language interpreters will be presented. Video examples from the study will also be utilized.
