Early Experiences Elevate Everything: Early Brain and Child Development and the Future of Society

Description

Early Experiences Elevate Everything: Early Brain and Child Development and the Future of Society

We know the first thousand days of life are critically important, and it follows that human relationships and interactions play a key role in healthy development during that time. But children who experience toxic stress or adverse events in the first three years may suffer life-long developmental issues. Well-constructed programs for young children and broad policy can provide practical ways for practitioners and families to effectively support young children’s healthy development.
