Global Developmental Milestones: Birth to Three years

Description

Training will discussed the developmental milestones of children ages birth to three year across cognitive, social emotional, language, physical, and sensory development. It is important for early intervention professionals to have a strong understanding of developmentally/age appropriate skills in the birth to three age range in order to appropriately identify whether a delay is indicated and whether therapeutic interventions are effective in facilitating growth and progress toward goals. These milestones are presented with language that is family friendly so as to address deficits in a supportive way to facilitate positive relationships with the families with whom early intervention therapists work.
