Hands On, Minds On: Full STEAM Ahead

Description

The Collaboration for Early Childhood is delighted to present its 16th annual Symposium. This annual gathering provides an opportunity for anyone who works with young children – educators, caregivers, and parents – to gain knowledge, perspective, practical skills and tools for supporting all young children.

This year’s theme is Hands On, Minds On: Full STEAM Ahead. The 2019 Symposium is focused on problem solving through STEAM related activities and through all the other moments in a day that teachers and children need to call on problem solving skills.

The value of diverse problem-solving skills will be addressed in an array of workshops exploring engineering, math, science, creativity, technology, movement, anti-bias/anti-racism, discipline, nature and so much more. We are confident you’ll walk away with many new ideas, activities and experiences to incorporate into your work on Monday morning
