Description |
This two hour workshop is designed as an overview for new Service Coordinators and a review/refresher for seasoned staff, in order to provide foundational understanding and clarification on the use of “Clinical Judgment” in the determination of eligibility for the Illinois Early Intervention Program. There is some confusion in the field as to the role that clinical judgment plays and Service Coordinators are charged with facilitating team discussion and decision making that aligns with early intervention principles. Case based discussion will be utilized in order to problem solve and offer practical application of information.
