Pediatric GI

Description

This workshop will explore how to talk to families about their concerns with their child’s feeding skills, nutrition, health, and explore the option for further evaluation. We will help therapists understand when to reach out to the pediatrician and pediatric GI for further testing and medical interventions that can negatively impact feeding therapy and the child’s development e.g. GERD, constipation, vomiting, diarrhea, etc. They will also understand how to work with the pediatrician/pediatric GI to help resolve feeding issues/concerns and support the family during the process.
