Description |
This is the seventh of eight Reflective Practice Groups the Illinois Association for Infant Mental Health conducted for professionals in the Springfield/central Illinois area who work with children and their families. The groups were facilitated by two professionals who have obtained the Infant/Early Childhood Mental Health Credential through the Illinois Association for Infant Mental Health, a rigorous, 10-month process. The Reflective Practice Groups give professionals in Early Intervention an opportunity to connect and collaborate with other professionals while discussing reflective practices and self-knowledge; culture and diversity; family and community systems; infant and child development in the context of relationships; and professional ethics when working with children and their families.
