This forum will provide Early Intervention Providers and Families and opportunity to meet and collaborate with Child Assessment Team (CATS), Child and Family Connections staff, advocates and Starnet staff. Attendees will discuss the evaluation process and transition into the educational setting from EI to EC in CPS. The CATS will define the process and provide resources and examples of what parents can expect during all phases of the evaluation process. EI Providers and families attending this Forum will be asked to present their concerns in order to collaborate solutions with the CATS. The overall objective is to improve the evaluation process and EI to EC transition for all families. There will be time for a Q & A.
