An Introduction to Interoception & Implications for Treatment

Description

The definition and concept of interoception will be introduced with examples cited such as hunger, nausea, sleepiness, bowel and bladder function, and pain/ discomfort. Applying concept of interoception into framework of child's basic needs which need to be met prior to being able to address goals related to communication or motor development.
