The Neuro-Connection Method

Description

The Neuro-Connection Method is a collaboration of techniques designed to create segmental control and functional mobility, while training the brain to respond to signals from different stimulus. This course begins by teaching handling and positioning of a child to provide the appropriate treatment sequence. Once promoting body control, the program focuses on advanced hand-eye and movement coordination to promote developmental milestones. The purpose of the class is to teach health care providers how to create the treatment environment using several techniques that focus on utilizing neuroplasticity to form valuable neural connections within the brain stimuli that may be audible, visual, tactile, etc. The Neuro-Connection class guides the rehabilitation team on how to analyze the appropriate responses of the patients during vision test/movement control. Participants will understand why segmental control begins from head to toe, and why vision plays an important role.
