Description

Normal hearing is necessary for appropriate speech and language development. This presentation is intended to be an overview of audiologic concepts. It will cover the basics of how we hear, developmentally appropriate test techniques, and hearing assistive technologies. The impacts of various degrees, types, and configurations of hearing loss specifically for children will be discussed.
