This training will provide a broad view of Autism, including current trends in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorder. Participants can also expect to gain information on genetics as it relates to Autism, as well as the work that is being done with pediatricians and primary care providers to facilitate referrals and services for families who have concerns about their child's development. Finally, discussion about medical diagnostic clinic evaluations from both the clinic and parent perspective will be provided.
