ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY WORKSHOP

Description

The AT workshop is an interdisciplinary workshop for professionals seeking to develop and improve their knowledge and understanding of the AT process in Illinois Early Intervention. Additionally, the participants will improve their clinical skills in selecting and fitting the appropriate pediatric equipment for children ages 0-3; while providing family support throughout the process. The participants will learn of new and current AT practices in the state of Illinois. They will also learn of the new and available pediatric equipment, understand ordering, adjusting, and fitting equipment, and the rationale behind using specific pieces of equipment.
