Food Allergies- What do I need to know?

Description

With food allergies on the rise, as an early intervention provider you might be wondering what you should be on the look out for, when to refer, how you can keep all of the children you work with safe and how you can support families dealing with food allergies. Come learn about early warning signs, red flags and symptoms of food allergies so that you can be aware of what to watch for and be able to approach/discuss the topic with families you work with. You will also learn how to safely work with foods and how to properly clean toys and materials when working with this population. You will leave with resources on when and where to refer families as well.
