Description

Autism is a complicated disorder. The morning session, "Understanding Autism Spectrum Disorders," will discuss the latest information and strategies regarding individuals with autism and how to help them improve social, behavioral and communication challenges. Several cases and strategies along with videos will be presented. Following a one-hour lunch break, Dr. Cynthia Brouillard, Psy.D, will be your instructor for the second half of the workshop, "Social Skills Strategies for High Functioning Children" from noon - 3 p.m. Teaching social skills can only be successful if you understand your learner, their needs and the right strategies.
