Fathers, Reflective Functioning, and an Iterative Parallel Process

Description

This workshop presents an innovative and unique approach for providers who work with fathers. Early childhood providers continue to have questions and seek answers for ways to work with fathers. Historically, the approaches used to work with fathers were borrowed from programs that work with mothers, however, they have not been very effective to get/keep Fathers engaged and interested, and providers continue to seek different ideas. By introducing a new approach with concepts already known to early childhood providers, the leap to working with fathers is not as vast as it seems and becomes quickly applicable for those professionals.
