Enlisting the Village - Partnering with Others to Meet the Needs of Your DHH Student

Description

If you are working with a student or students with hearing loss, supporting the use of their technology, monitoring academic gains, checking in with social and emotional needs and expecting self advocacy skills, you know how important it is to enlist the village! It is critical that others understand what the goals are for their DHH student, how these goals are being worked on, and how everyone can partner together in this process. This session will provide you with tips and tools on how you can create buy-in and understanding and truly enlist the village to support your student with hearing loss.
