Eligibility appears to be clear cut, but it may not be as easy as it seems. We know that every child may benefit from early intervention. However, determining eligibility is an important decision and not one to be taken without a full understanding of what constitutes eligibility in the Illinois Early Intervention system. We’ll be discussing clinical judgment, as well as what makes an at-risk condition rise to the level of eligibility. We will review scenarios and discuss domain level scoring.
