Engaging Parents in the Early Childhood Setting

Description

Parents are their children’s first teachers. It is therefore essential that every effort be made to ensure that ongoing and effective communication and partnerships be established and maintained with parents. This task can be both rewarding and challenging. This workshop is designed to provide early childhood care professionals with strategies to develop positive partnerships with parents. This workshop is reflective and requires participants to come prepared to work in small groups.
