This course presented current research by Schertz and Odom published in Autism and Developmental Disorders in 2017. The article, “Mediating Parent Learning to Promote Social Communication for Toddlers with Autism: Effects from a Randomized Controlled Trial” investigated the effects of the Joint Attention Mediated Learning intervention on social communication outcomes in children with autism.
