This course presented current research by Gogate and Madhavilatha published in The Journal of Speech, Language and Hearing in 2017. The article, “The Origins of Verb Learning: Preverbal and Postverbal Infants Learning of Word-Action Relations” investigated the differences in verb learning between preverbal and post verbal infants and the relationship of this difference to natural word learning.
