Joseph Bodyworks Strain Counterstrain is based on the work of osteopath, Dr. Lawrence Jones. Strain-counterstrain is a neuro-modulation technique that reduces facilitated segments and aberrant sensory input. Emphasizing treatment of the pelvis and sacrum, this course can be used in children and adults with hyper/hypotonus of the pelvic. It improves stability at the pelvis, decreases pain and improves ambulatory stability.
