Early Childhood Cross Collaboration Training

Description

Providing young children who have been maltreated access to comprehensive high quality early care and education services, including home visiting (HV) and Early Intervention (EI), represents a critical opportunity for mitigating the effects of maltreatment on the developing brain. Unfortunately, infants and toddlers who have been maltreated face barriers to accessing these programs and services, and collaboration among key providers can be very challenging. This cross training series will provide a unique opportunity for EI providers, home visitors, and child welfare workers within a community to come together to build cross systems knowledge and relationships that will facilitate improved collaboration and access to effective services for infants and toddlers who have experienced abuse and neglect.
