This course provides the practicing neonatal therapist with an update on intermediate/advanced NICU topics. Topics covered will include considerations for the medically complex NICU patient, updates on the current understanding of different pathologies seen in the complex NICU patient, and evidence-based clinical-decision making for therapeutic intervention. The course will also provide guidelines for functional documentation in the NICU and how to apply the ICF model to develop functionally-oriented problem lists and goals.
