In assisting children, adolescents and adults of all ages, it is imperative to include the mind-body connection with the latest research and clinical correlates available in trauma and development literature. We will look at the commonly seen medical & psychiatric conditions and invisible disabilities in the general population, twice-exceptional and learning asynchronies that are evident in all communities though often unrecognized. Integrative approaches to treatment including lifestyle changes, multi-sensory needs for learning and natural options will be reviewed.
