This training will focus on how professionals can use AAC with their Early Intervention clients. We will discuss the definition and types of AAC, including low tech vs. high tech options. We will identify who would benefit from AAC, as well as the research supporting AAC use and resources for AAC evaluations and trials. Finally, we will review the implementation of AAC on an IFSP including the plan development and funding AAC through Early Intervention.
