Clinicians will discuss an article by Dawson and colleagues published in STEM CELLS Translational Medicine in April 2017. The article, titled “Autologous cord blood infusions are safe and feasible in young children with Autism Spectrum Disorder” overviews results of a phase 1 trial showing that umbilical cord cell therapies may have potential to alleviate ASD symptoms.
