Applied Behavior Analysis and PECS in Early Intervention

Description

This two hour workshop is designed to help Service Coordinators understand two of the most widely recommended treatment approaches/teaching strategies for children with suspected and diagnosed Autism. When crafting an IFSP and facilitating a team meeting, it is crucial for Service Coordinators to have foundational knowledge about intervention strategies so they can ask and answer questions and guide the process to align with Early Intervention Principles. Topics include an overview of Applied Behavior Analysis and PECS with research, benefits and video examples.
