Description |
For this topic Dr. Nelson will discuss several neurodevelopmental disorders which will have a lifetime impact on the young child and family. He will discuss how approaches to intervention and family support often look different for children with conditions affecting their life and development permanently.
The common process for families learning about their child's diagnosis and there needs in the first three years will be discussed. He will also share the in-going therapy needs in EI, as well as those that are often part of the school-based program when a child turns three.
