| Description |
This four hour intensive training will review and discuss Transition to Park B of the IDEA for Early Intervention professionals, with emphasis on developmental models vs educational legal requirements of an IEP and an IEP team; parental consent topics, the importance of evaluations; eligibility under Part B; independent evaluations; least restrictive environment (LRE); Parental rights; due process and mediation. Case studies of Part B Transition issues will be presented.
