Life with Stuttering

Description

The course will be provide information regarding stuttering and the presenter’s own life experiences with the communication disorder. Participants will be given information regarding therapy as a child and therapy as an adult. Participants will learn effective ways to monitor and/or treat stuttering in children 3 years of age and younger. Ideas will be presented on what techniques are best to use and which techniques to stray away from. Participants will be taught the difference between typical and atypical behaviors of stuttering. Potential causes will be discussed. The floor will be open for questions the entire training to gain insight of the presenter’s life experiences as well as treatment ideas and techniques.
