Professional Development Feeding Group Meeting: An Interprofessional Aerodigestive Team Approach: Case Study Trisomy 14 Mosaicism- Swallowing Function

Description

The Chicagoland Feeding Professional Development Group seeks to support therapists who are interested in helping children who struggle to eat, and supporting their families. The summer meeting will feature Erin Miller, MA CCC-SLP, feeding specialist at Rush Hospital, presenting on An Interprofessional Aerodigestive Team Approach: Case Study: Swallow Function in a Rare Case of Trisomy 14 Mosaicism. The presentation will cover three large subject areas including the following:
Identify infant/children that will benefit from the aerodigestive team approach
Identify/discuss/understand the different roles of each healthcare provider with the aerodigestive team
Identify/discuss/understand the developmental delays and swallowing dysfunction with Trisomy 14 Mosaicism.
This meeting is open to all professionals and parents that are interested in feeding.
