Early Childhood and Trauma 101

Description

Although we like to think of early years as filled with joy, excitement, learning and growth, this is not always the case. Rates of childhood maltreatment and trauma are highest for our youngest children. This workshop will define trauma, symptoms of early childhood trauma, and how to care for a traumatized child. This is a workshop that discusses very sensitive material so please use caution when choosing to attend.
