Design Thinking for Curriculum Creation

Description

This workshop is for educators who design curriculum in any setting. Design thinking is a collaborative, human-centered, problem-solving process that can be used to facilitate curriculum creation. In this workshop we will begin with an introduction to the design thinking process. Participants will engage in dialogue and brainstorming around how the design thinking model may be adapted to improve and support best practices in education. We will consider how the process of empathy, ideation, definition, prototype, and testing can be followed to create curriculum that meets real-world needs.
