Keeping it Real: Realistic and Developmentally Appropriate Approaches to STEAM with Infants, Toddler, and Two Year-Olds

Description

Research reveals knowledge of the world around them is one of the strongest predictors of young children’s future success in science, reading, and mathematics. However, evidence also suggests very young children have few opportunities to engage in scientific and math learning before they enter school. This workshop will explore learning opportunities and engaging interactions that support science, technology, engineering, arts and math learning for infants, toddlers and twos in developmentally appropriate learning environments.
