Prerequisites: CNB/ Intro to RMT or FCN
This class is appropriate for any Therapist dealing with Neuroplasticity in Clinical Settings
You will be presented with the next steps in the Haller Method for Creating Neuroplastic Change. This is a way of thinking about Neuroplasticity in the clinic. This class is the second in a 4 part series. Learning to recognize the neurological difficulties in the brain via posture & movement can be crucial clues to accessing the exact activity the will facilitate desired positive clinical change. This can be done through evaluating neural maturity of the sensory and motor systems in relationship to gravity control - which you will learn. This process relies on understanding Primitive Reflex activity, and knowing how to develop it after evaluating its functional status. This class teaches how to evaluate, elicit, develop then integrate the reflexes responsible for flexion and extension in new born thru 3 years old. This further explores the framework for using reflexes, intention and movement as access points for neuroplasticity change.
