Clinical Neuroplasticity for Babies (9hrs in combo with RMT intro)
This class is appropriate for any Therapist dealing with Neuroplasticity in Clinical Settings
You will be presented with the Haller Method for Creating Neuroplastic Change. This class is the first in a 4 part series. This is a way of thinking about Neuroplasticity in the clinic. Learning to recognize the neurological difficulties in the brain via posture & movement can be crucial clues to accessing the exact activity the will facilitate desired positive clinical change. This can be done through evaluating neural maturity and clinical connectivity of the sensory and motor systems - which you will learn. This process relies on body schema, knowing how to develop it after evaluating its functional status, is ground work for the next steps in growing neural connections.
This class teaches how to develop the neural nets in the brain stem, the cerebellum and the basal ganglia that are crucial for holding learning, using Rhythmic Movement Training.
This further provides the framework for understanding how reflexes, intention and movement are access points for neuroplasticity and the neurological role of triggering a reflex before Rx.
