Rush Medical Diagnostics: Referral, Family Preparation, and Day of Evaluation Details

Description

Rush University Medical Center provides pediatric medical diagnostics for children in the Illinois Early Intervention System. As each medical diagnostics program is unique, the Rush program will provide an overview of their program and their coordinating process for referring children. In addition, they will overview what families can expect in their experience and what their service coordinator can share with them in advance of the visit so they feel prepared. Lastly, Dr. Ochoa will detail the medical diagnostic day, describe each team member on the team and also explain what families and service coordinators can expect in terms of follow up after the visit.
