Creating Accepting Classroom Communities: How Positive Attitudes Are Formed

As classes become more diverse, negative attitudes towards those who are different persist, and bullying behaviors are on the rise. Self-reflection activities that teachers can use to understand how attitudes are formed will be shared, along with research-based strategies from the Making Friends Program. Together, these foster a sense of belonging for all children.
