Investigating the Bilingual Child’s Brain

Description

This presentation is designed to help providers understand the difference between typical language errors presented by bilingual speakers and errors produced by bilingual children with language disorders. This presentation will help providers and parents understand the benefits of maintaining a child’s heritage language and understanding language attrition. The presentation also allows for discussion of planning culturally appropriate interventions and determining what is the most appropriate schooling for dual language learners.
