Suspected Apraxia and Early Intervention

Description

This course provides clinically relevant strategies and therapeutic

activities for children under the age of 5 with suspected apraxia of speech.

Participants are given an overview of apraxia, including its etiologies and hallmark characteristics/behaviors. The course examines practical

assessment strategies for minimally verbal children as well as differential

diagnosis. A variety of treatment approaches, goals and activities are presented.
