This course teaches how to manage illness and injuries in an infant or child within the first few minutes until professional help arrives. the course will include First Aid, CPR, AED. In first aid, the following will be introduced: medical emergencies (breathing problems, asthma, seizures); injury emergencies (bleeding, head and neck injuries, broken bones and burns); environmental emergencies (bites &stings, drowning, poison). CPR will focus on infant and toddler stages of development.
